Wildcat PRIDE Program

Week of April 27th – Always show your Wildcat PRIDE: In yourself, your school, & your community.
Week of May 4th – When given a task, do not moan or complain.
Week of May 11th – While dining in the cafeteria or elsewhere, be responsible for your trash & your area.
Week of May 18th – When you receive a gift, do not insult the gift or giver. 
The UM logo features bold black letters 'UM' within a red and gray circular design.

Unverferth Manufacturing Pen Pals

Our first graders will be having a picnic with their UM pen pals on Thursday, May 14th. KES is grateful for this community writing partnership that continues to be a wonderful experience for our young writers. 

 

Kindergarten Program

The kindergarten students will host their annual performance on Tuesday, May 12th, at 7 PM. This year’s show is "Pajama Party". If any grandparents or parents can not attend the evening performance, there will be a rehearsal on Monday, May 11th at 1:30.

Volunteers Needed

We are in need of parent volunteers for field day on May 19th, for the afternoon beginning at noon. If you are available, please let your child’s homeroom teacher know.

Meet Your Teacher

Class lists for the 2026-27 school year are prepared, and students will find out who their teacher is on Wednesday, May 20th at Meet Your Teacher Day. 
 

Last Day & Summer Hours

The last day for students is Thursday, May 21st. We will have a 2-hour early dismissal starting at 12:50. Teacher workday is Friday, May 22nd. The elementary office summer hours will be 8:00-3:30 through June 4.

Congratulations to the April students of the month. Way to follow the essentials and show your Wildcat PRIDE!
