There are no birthdays today. Celebrating his birthday tomorrow is Liam Deatrick-Hipsher – Grade 2.. Celebrating on Sunday is Patrick Strauer – Grade 3 and celebrating on Monday are Jude Rau – Grade 4 and Lydia Warnecke – Kg.
Today’s menu is Cheese Pizza, Broccoli, Fruit and Milk.
Students WILL NOT attend school on Monday, September 14th. Kalida Schools will have professional development for staff, but students will not have classes.
Who can raise their hand and tell their teacher what integrity is?
Hopefully you answered “Doing the right thing even when no one is looking”. Let’s work on showing integrity both in school and outside of school. Whether we are on the sports field or running around with our friends at the Pioneer, show integrity by doing the right thing to represent yourself, your family, & your community in a positive way.
- Here is a quote to sum up Integrity, “Integrity is choosing courage over comfort; Choosing what is right over what is fun, fast, or easy; And choosing to practice our values rather than simply talking about them.”
- So this quote means that making the right choice is going to be hard sometimes, but we should have courage to practice doing the right thing.
