There will be no afternoon speech classes today. Mrs. Westenbarger will be here this morning for speech classes.
· Working well with others is a skill you will practice the rest of your life. When you work with others in a group it is really important that you respect each other’s ideas. Everyone has their own ideas & opinions, but we should respect what others have to say. This does not mean you will always agree with someone else, but we should at least listen to their ideas as well! When you are working on a group project, maybe you can even combine a few ideas together for one great big wonderful idea!
· Today for RAK Week, we are working on Kindness in our Community. Showing kindness in your community is important and shows your Wildcat PRIDE!
o When you go to a basketball game, show your kindness by following the rules, being respectful to the players and referees, and picking up your trash.
o If you are dining at a local restaurant like Smoke-e’s or Brew Works, make sure you are polite and don’t leave a huge mess for the staff to clean up. Tell your waiter or waitress please & thank you.
