Tomorrow’s menu is Turkey Gravy over Mashed Potatoes, Carrots, Fruit, Biscuit and Milk.
Sign up sheets are in the office for any boy in 3rd or 4th grade interested in signing up for baseball. There will not be a sheet sent home. They must sign up in the office by Friday.
Yesterday, we talked about active listening. Today, let’s learn how to show someone you’re listening. Here are three simple ways:
1. Face the person speaking—look at them to show you’re paying attention.
2. Nod or smile to show you understand.
3. Ask questions or repeat what they said—like, “You said you love basketball? That’s cool!”
Let’s practice these tips today in class, at recess, and at home. Active listening helps us all feel heard and respected. Great job, listeners!
